UPDATE: COVID-19

Dear Hickman Road family,

The continued spread of the COVID-19 virus in the United States is having a significant impact on the country, and according to health experts, the manner in which we address the spread of the virus will dictate the severity of the impact on our society.

In an effort to slow the contagion in Iowa, our Governor issued a state of Public Health Disaster Emergency on Tuesday, March 17. The order requires social distancing through temporary measures, including school and restaurant closures, and prohibiting mass gatherings, including religious services of more than ten people (see Section Three Subsection E).

In our effort to not only comply with the order, but to ensure the health of our family, we will take the following action in regards to our assembly and will reassess as at the appropriate time.

All services remain cancelled through April 30. During this time period the church building will be closed with no one allowed access until after April 30.

Wednesday night Bible study: 6:00 P.M.
Sunday morning Bible study: 10:00 A.M.
Sunday morning sermon/devotional: 11:00 A.M.
